Trials and Triumph HBA Podcast

Did you know that we have been featured on HBA? Check out our interview!

Listen to T74’s founder Jay as he discusses his trials and strategies to be successful post military.

“Do you think you’ll like it?  I don’t know I’ve never tried it before.”  This is a fantastic episode from Jay, owner of Tactical 74.  When leaving service, is it identity loss or should we look at it as a new mission objective?  In this episode we discuss not only what happens, and how it feels to suddenly be taken from the thing you’ve given most of your life to.  We also discuss how to soldier on in a different capacity.  Jay has also picked up an interesting hobby because of this switch in lifestyle, one he never thought he’d enjoy.  Get out there and try stuff!  You never know what you may potentially find joy in.

To find out more information about the Honey Badger Alliance project, it can be found here: https://honeybadgeralliance.com/

We also spoke about Quilts of Valor, an amazing project that can be found here: https://www.quiltsofvalour.ca/

Charity Increase!

A big shout out to our vendor Privateer Factory! Did you know that they have volunteered to raise their Charity contributions?

Every time Tactical 74 sells a product, T74 collects a small portion to give a veteran charity. Its not a lot, but every bit helps. And with Privateer Factory’s generosity, that portion has gotten a lot bigger!

Check out their products (they are always adding new ones all the time)!

Buy a shirt, support a veteran business…and a veteran charity (not bad results for a cool looking shirt).

Mad Hatter Industries

Our newest veteran vendor Mad Hatter Industries is meant to be something that you can place your confidence and trust in that it won’t let you down and will watch your back (or your six).

The apparel is a bonus and a great way to spread the idea behind creating a community that supports each other and has their brother or sisters back at a time of need. It is also about inspiring and motivating each other to overcome whatever adversity you face. Whether it be anxiety from stepping out the door or worrying about flashbacks from your first or last tour facing you when you run into crisis. It is everything above and more but most importantly, it is a promise to yourself that you will take No Quarter with the struggles that you are dealing with.

Help us welcome Mad Hatter to our veteran family and save on the full Mad Hatter product line.

Our Mad Hatter Sale ends Feb 14th, 2020!

Raising donations for VETS Canada

Tactical 74 had the opportunity to set up our booth at the Northern Micro technology conference. We were hard at work spreading the word about a great charity VETS Canada. We are pleased to announce that NM has generously donated $1k to the cause! Every cent of the money was passed on to VETS Canada and we know it will go a long way to help homeless veterans. Merry Christmas VETS Canada!

Socially Responsible

What is a socially responsible company?  It’s a commitment to act for the benefit of society at large.  For Tactical 74, this commitment is to the veteran community.  Each year, Tactical 74 makes a commitment of how much we can donate to a veteran charity.  We challenge ourselves to meet and exceed our goal from the year before.

When you purchase an item from Tactical 74, a portion of the sale will be donated to a veteran charity.  In addition to charity, your sale supports a veteran business owner.  Tactical 74’s commitment extends to helping fellow veteran business owners through meaningful partnerships and increased exposure.

Tactical 74 is a veteran marketplace.  A proud collection of veteran businesses.  Starting your own business while transitioning to civilian life is challenging.  And Tactical 74 knows that first hand.  Taking a lesson learned from battle, “there is strength in numbers”.  Together we can all succeed.  Every business featured on Tactical 74 has a strong, focused warrior at it’s core.

By shopping from our collection of veteran own businesses you help make their passion come to life.  In addition, for every item purchased through Tactical 74, a donation to a veteran charity is made.

Pens by Serge

Retired army veteran, Serge Vienneau of Moncton, NB is quite literally penning a new profession for himself.   Instead of carrying a rifle, he’s carving out intricate art in the form of hand-crafted wooden pens — and finding some much needed peace in the process.  Serge Vienneau has found peace in his woodworking shop, making hand crafted pens using wood from all around the globe.  Now, he says the only guns in his life are the ones he fixes on his creations.
